Spicy Deviled Eggs and how to make the perfect hard boiled egg

With Easter less than a week away it really is time to be thinking about Easter Sunday dinner, and how on earth we will serve up the hard-boiled eggs the Easter Bunny hides! I know for many it is a tradition to dye eggs and hide them, or have them out for the Easter Bunny to hide. I do this with my kids every year, and we often try different methods for coloring the eggs. I’m still not sure how we will dye them this year, but I do know how I will be preparing them for Sunday dinner! These MIRACLE WHIP Spicy Deviled Eggs are easy and kick things up just a bit, for some added flavor. You too can transform those Easter eggs from something ordinary to extraordinary by kicking them up with MIRACLE WHIP Dressing.

With this Spicy Deviled Egg recipe, in just 15 minutes you’ll have an appetizer or snack to satisfy those taste buds on Easter! For more MIRACLE WHIP fun and recipes/photos, be sure to follow the #ProudOfIt hashtag!

How to get the perfect hard-boiled eggs

Here are some tips to ensure a great hard boiled egg:

  • Place eggs in single layer in saucepan; add enough water to completely cover eggs by at least 1 inch. Bring water to a boil; cover. Remove saucepan from heat; let stand 15 min. Drain eggs; immediately place in bowl of ice water. Let stand until completely cooled, changing water if necessary. Perfectly hard- cooked eggs will have a firm yellow center with no greenish tinge.

MIRACLE WHIP Spicy Deviled Eggs

If you want your deviled eggs to come out looking creamy and delicious, you can try piping the egg yolk mixture into the egg white. Spoon the egg yolk mixture into a resealable plastic bag. Cut a small corner from the bottom of the bag, or use a decorating tip for added fun!
