We are the parents of 4 and our youngest is 15 months old now. Even with our youngest, we are a long way from the listening for the smallest peep while they sleep phase, but now, we’ve entered what I like to call, the quiet mischief stage! If you are the parent of a toddler you know, or at least suspect : ), that there is a whole world of antics going on after (sometimes during) naptime when you think your toddler is sweetly tucked into bed; every bit of it happening before you hear a thing on the baby monitor. Most of the time it’s quite hilarious – these toddler tricks, or at worst majorly messy, but I have to admit I was always worried that with all of the in and out, up and over capabilities of a toddler, that our little one would get herself in a jam before I knew it. Thankfully VTech has me covered!
With the I have been able to not only hear our little girl, but look in on her as well, without disturbing her sleep or leaving my work. The baby monitor is small and wall mountable. From my side of things, a small portable unit, I can hear her and see her on a screen with perfect picture quality and sound. If she’s ever out of view, I can easily pan, tilt or even zoom in to check on her. Meanwhile, I just learned that the VTech Baby Monitor can support up to four cameras, with super easy view modes. Perfect! One for the bedroom, one for the playroom, one for wherever she is and I’m not. She can play independently and I won’t have to wait for the moment that I realize she’s been way too quiet for way too long and then go running to see what she’s up to!!
It’s a crazy, busy world we live in and honestly I sometimes feel like it is all blurring by way too fast. I tell myself everyday to slow down and take it all in. Thinking about it, I realized today how hard it is to remember my older three as toddlers at all any more. Over the last couple of weeks with the VTech, I’ve been able to stop and listen in on the songs my “baby” sings to herself while she plays and catch the sleepy look on her face when she wakes up…moments I would have otherwise missed altogether. Not only has this little gem of a baby monitor made this phase a little less stressful but it has also made it a lot more sweet.
