I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Huggies® Brand. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for participating
I try to be pretty penny-wise when it comes to buying products for my family, but I have to admit that when I buy diapers and wipes I am a bit of “diaper snob.” I love Huggies because they really hold! Their unique design hold leaks, and hold wiggly little bottoms! To me the extra cost is worth not having diaper mishaps, especially when we are out and about!
Luckily, I have found a few tricks to allow me to be able to enjoy the luxury of Huggies Diapers without feeling the guilt of breaking the bank! I’m going to show you how to save on Huggies Diapers and Wipes!
* Grab Manufacture’s Coupons– Have you ever visited the Huggies website? If not, do it! Not only do they have useful tips and advice, but they usually always have printable manufacture coupons! That’s free money!
* Join the Huggies Rewards Program- While you are at the Huggies Website sign up for the rewards program. Then when you get your next package of Huggies be sure to enter your unique reward code into your account. These points can be used to “buy” additional manufacture coupons or can be saved for cool baby products!
* Buy in Bulk- Have you ever wondered if buying in bulk on diapers could save you? I’m here to do the math for you!
1 package of 50 Huggies size 1 Snug and Dry at a national store typically costs $9.99= .1998 per diaper
1 package of 156 Huggies size 1 Snug and Dry PLUS at Costco costs 29.99= $ .1922 per diaper
Ok, so that may not seem like a huge savings, but let’s play it out! If you take the cost of one diaper at the smaller package of diapers price ($.1998) and multiply it by the amount of diapers in the Costco package (156) we find out how much the total cost would be compared to the quantity in the Costco Package
156 x .1998= $31.16 for 156 diapers at the higher “national store” price
So, you would save $1.17 each time you bought a box of diapers from Costco, pretty good for something you need to buy anyways on a regular basis!
Plus to make the deal sweeter, the type of Huggies that are only available at Costco are Huggies Snug and Dry Plus, as opposed to the regular Huggies Snug and Dry available at national stores. Bottom line: buying at Costco will get you a better quality diaper at a lower price!
* Take advantage of “stock-up price” sales– Because you know that diapers are an item that you need to buy regularly, it’s a good item to stock up on when you find a good sale! This week at Costco you can save $6 on Huggies Snug and Dry Plus and $5 on Huggies Natural Care Plus Wipes with their instant savings program! Pair it with some of the above ways to save, and you have yourself a pretty awesome deal! Stock up, to take full advantage of it! Then you don’t need to buy again until you find another awesome deal!
*Weigh before you pay– There is nothing worst then stocking up on a great deal and then finding out that your baby has outgrown the size you stocked up on. To avoid this from happening, weigh your baby before you stock up. If he is close to going over the suggested weight limit, you may want to think about stocking up in a larger size!
By taking advantage of great deals and stocking up when I find them, I feel like I can enjoy the luxury of being a “diaper snob” without paying luxury prices! Don’t forget to follow @Huggies on Twitter, for more info!
