Not So Scary Witch Treats + $50 Dollar Tree Gift Card Giveaway

by Emily Buys 159 Comments

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Dollar Tree via Burst Media. The opinions and text are all mine.

I simply love Fall and nearly everything about it. I love to decorate and whip up yummy Fall treats; for myself, but also because it makes my kids happy. I can’t begin to tell you how often my kids ask if they can help craft or create something festive. Not all of my projects are easy enough for them to help, but whenever we receive inspiration from the DOLLAR TREE VALUE SEEKERS CLUB, the kids are sure to help.

Tonight we had family night where we whipped up some Not So Scary Witch Treats.

Dollar Tree is making crafting easier with their loyalty program, the Dollar Tree Value Seekers Club. The Value Seekers Club is a club full of crafts, recipes, décor and frugal fun idea that can all be created with Dollar Tree products. Membership is FREE and content changes each month. They even provide you with a project sheet you can print off and take to the store with you as a shopping list. Not to mention affordability!! Each piece of your project will only cost $1.

THE VALUE SEEKERS CLUB also hosts members-only contests, give exclusive product sneak peeks, and offers first-to-by opportunities! Are you ready for my Halloween project, inspired by the club? All ingredients were purchased at Dollar Tree, which made for tons of Witch Hats and Witch Brooms for just $5!!!

Ditch the creepy snacks or the overdone potions for Halloween party fare, and create these easy, cute and almost readymade treats for the littles in your life.

To get the step-by-step instructions for the Witch’s Broom and Witch’s Hat, head over and join The Value Seekers Club! New tutorials are added every month. My Dollar Tree didn’t have canned frosting so I picked up a container of marshmallow fluff and died that purple for the witch’s hat brim. I also spotted the cute little bobble head Halloween characters and ribbon while at Dollar Tree, so I just had to get them to create a centerpiece!

Witch's Hats and Brooms

Now I want to see what you are whipping up with help from The Value Seekers Club. Post your pictures in the comments or on social media, and use #DTVSC. To help you with your Dollar Tree creations, I am giving away a $50 gift card to DOLLAR TREE. Visit the VALUE SEEKERS CLUB, choose one or two of your favorite craft, recipe or decors ideas, and leave a comment telling me your favorites! The giveaway will end at 11:59pm PT on 10/20. To enter, fill out the form below.

Some of the projects I would love to try from the Dollar Tree Value Seekers Club is the Halloween Lunchbox Treats. I especially love the apple and marshmallow idea of making a grin. I also like the Popcorn Bar idea for kids classroom parties.
