This Season’s Hottest Dog: Get Up and GoGo My Walkin Pup #ChosenByKids

Have you started thinking about Christmas gifts for the kids? My kids have already begun creating wish lists. My daughter is so wishy-washy though, so what I like to do with her is take her to the store and see what stores she goes crazy over the most. Each Saturday for the next little while, select Walmarts are hosting toy events, where some of this season’s hottest toys are on display. Kids can get hands-on with the toys and you can get a feel for what they really like. Plus, there should be plenty of information on Walmart’s layaway offering.

My Walmart didn’t end up having an event, but they did stock up with plenty of this season’s hottest toys, in a dedicated aisle. The kids had fun perusing. I thought I’d give one of the new toys a whirl, so I picked up the FurReal Friends Get Up and GoGo My Walkin Pup Pet by Hasbro. I have been reading great things about this special pup, around the web. 

The Get Up and GoGo My Walkin Pup is great for any little dog lover. If your little one has been asking for a dog, but you’re unsure if they can handle the responsibility of a real live pet, then this might be the perfect stepping stone. This adorable little plus wags her tail, walks on a leash (which is moved by it’s owner), and sits & tilts her head. Miss Bea’s favorite part is that the pup barks when she is talked to. No worrying about accidents in the house, shedding or stinky dog smells. Really a great option – especially for anyone with allergies. The only bummer is that it requires 4 “C” batteries, which aren’t included. For added fun, The GoGo Pup will also interact with an app (download from iTunes). Your little one can play cute dress-up games an such, on the app itself, or the pup will interact with the app!

Before you head out to do your shopping, don’t forget about the printable Christmas Wish List that Leanne created. The kids can fill it in, and there is a space for them to stick on the photos that they took of their wishes for gifts! This should make Christmas Shopping easy and organized. Don’t forget your camera when you head to your toy event at Walmart.
