This year there seems to be a theme for me, and that is last minute shopping. I am ashamed to admit that I really procrastinated this year and have had to do a lot of last minute shopping. So not like me, but in my defense, it has been a very very busy month (or year?). Luckily ToysRUs is still open for some last minute gifts for kids, and I’ve got a few ideas I wanted to share with you. They’ve got something for every age range of child, including adults. Here are the gifts that I know my kids are going to enjoy:
LEGO Fusion: I have yet to meet a boy who doesn’t love LEGOs, and the LEGO Fusion sets are so fun and full of color. A cool feature is that they come with an app so you can build in real life and have a virtual game! Great combination of creative play and electronic usage, which is all right up my kids’ alley. Win-win!
Air Hogs Vectron Wave: Kids of all ages (yes, the men love R/C toys, right?) will have fun controlling the Vectron Wave, which is on sale for just $14.99! Great last minute buy at a great price.
FurReal Friends: The number one item on Miss Bea’s Christmas list is the FurReal Friends Get up and Go Go My Walkin’ Pup Pet. This furry friend does require 4 AA batteries, so be sure to stock up on those before opening her up on Christmas morning. She’ll bark with sweet ruffs and other puppy sounds, or walk with the included remote control leash for hours of pretend play.
Kinetic Sand comes in a 2lb package, or in a variety of kits. Unlike any other molding type of material, the Kinetic Sand sticks to itself, but not to you! It also never dries out, which is fantastic! Pack it, pull it, shape it and love it. I’m thinking this would make for a great stocking stuffer!
Cabbage Patch: As I said in an earlier post, the 80s are making a comeback and the same goes for Cabbage Patch dolls! There are such a variety of dolls to get, but one we are currently loving is the Cabbage Patch Twinkle Toes Kid with Backpack. My little girl loves accessories, so it’s extra fun when her dolls get o have them too!
Charmazing: Last on my list of last minute gift ideas is the Charmazing Color Me Up! Charm Bracelet Kit. We’ve got a nice winter break here and crafting is one of our favorite things to do. Retailing at just $14.99, you can create truly fun and unique fashions to wear an enjoy. The kids come in a few different themes such as Seaside, Heart Collection, and more. For the girly girls, or the crafting girls, this would make a fun and inexpensive gift.
One Clever Housewife reader will also get to win their own Charmazing Color Me Up! Charm Bracelet Kit. The giveaway will end at 11:59pm PT on 12/31. To enter, fill out the form below.
