The Logitech Bemo: The Social Camera for the Social Butterfly

bemo-phone

Do you have a social butterfly on your Christmas list? The Logitech Bemo is the perfect gift for those in your life who like to capture all of those little moments. If you don’t like getting distracted with all of the other added features on your phone, or want something that will make people less self conscious while taking pictures, Bemo will do the job. It is a little larger than the size of your thumb, fits easily in your pocket and can be conveniently uploaded to Facebook, Instagram or any other form of social media.  As stated on their video, Bemo stands for “Be more yourself!” Relax, have fun, and get short bursts of video of any activity you may face throughout the day.

The Bemo social video camera is simple and portable. One thing I don’t like about the camera is that you have to hold the record button down the entire time you are shooting. With that being said, it comes with a lanyard or a clip to attach to a shirt pocket or pant packet, and is super discreet. With a soft touch finish, the Bemo social video camera is rugged and water-resistant – perfect for kids! Capture moments quickly with a high quality camera with an 8 megapixel lens and 720p HD video recording. A feature that many people will love is the ease of sharing socially, and that when you use the Bemo app, you can quickly personalize and edit your videos with headlines, music, filters, and clipping tools. You can also easily share your edited videos with family and friends, or upload to your favorite social network, via the Bemo app!  The Bemo comes with a USB charging cord, a lanyard and a micro SD card for up to three hours of recording.

The best part – one reader will get to win one for themself!

Gift Guide Ratings:
Poor (or Budget for it), Average, Good, Excellent

Availability: Average – available from Logitech and Amazon

Price: Budget for it– $129.99.

Durability: Good– The Bemo doesn’t have a big lens or glass screen that you have to worry about breaking. It’s rugged and water-resistant!

Interactive Features: Good- Download the app and connect your Bemo and video to your social media channels! You cannot receive playback from the device itself because it doesn’t come with a screen to watch what you’ve just shot. Take the SD card out and put it into your computer, or use the app on your smartphone!

Value For Money: Good – The price is a little high, but you get a video camera out of it. Sure, you can catch video on your smartphone, but depending on what you like to shoot, the Bemo is small and discreet, which has it’s perks. The quality of video at night isn’t as good as daylight, so watch use good lighting.

Who I would buy it for: Kids and adults alike will like a social camera such as this. Great for capturing school plays, the kids doing flips on the trampoline, travel, etc.

One Clever Housewife reader can enter to win their own Logitech Bemo. This giveaway will end at 11:59pm PT on 12/31. To enter, fill out the form below.
