Recently I have been following some inspiration by my cousin, to teach kids to cook. I began with weekly cooking lessons with my 7 year son, We are starting small, learning how to make pizza, homemade Mac and Cheese and lasagna, but I feel that its a great start.

I love that it is a something special that we can do together, while teaching him a valuable skill for when he leaves home as a young adult. I also hope that as a hidden benefit it will encourage him to be a little more adventurous in trying new foods, by having a part in preparing them.
