These adorable little bunny bags are so easy to make, using supplies you already have at home. Fill them with a few treats to make “some-bunny” feel special this Easter.
With Easter being just a few days I am having my family over tonight for a fun night of coloring eggs and some
outdoor springtime games. I am
planning an “EGG-citing Scavenger hunt” for one of the games, and decided last minute to put together some little treat bags for the kids as prizes. I was in the mood to do something a little bit crafty for these, but didn’t have the time or energy to do a huge project. Gaining inspiration from a post by Laurie on adorable fabric bunny sacks here, I decided to play around with my own no-sew version using plain white paper and glue.
The result was adorable! They where simple, and quick to put together using supplies that we already had around the house. They are easy enough that kids can even help make them for friends or teachers for a fun springtime surprise!
Easy Paper Bunny Treat Bags
1. Take your paper and fold it width-wise along the middle (making it 8.5x 5.5 size)
2. Cut the paper in half length-wise while still folded (making two papers of 4.25x 5.5)
3. Take one piece of paper and open it up. Using the glue stick glue the left and right sides. Fold again and press the edges together along the glued sections to create a pocket.
6. Decorate the bunny face and ears using markers. (This is the part that is great to have the kids help with)
