Shopping online is sometimes so much easier for me than going in-store. There are some things I just don’t want the hassle of going store to store to price compare, or to track down. Online shopping is fairly simple as is, but I get annoyed with my constant need to find the lowest price. Then there is all of the review hunting, to make sure I’m getting THE BEST product, etc. So, good news – I’m going to teach you how online shopping is made easy with Shopswell.
Shopswell is a brand new site that I was asked to test out during the early stages. It truly has some cool features that I haven’t seen elsewhere. Shopswell makes online shopping quicker and easier than ever by serving up product videos, price tracking, reviews, and community recommendations all in one place. Let me tell you a bit about each of the features on Shopswell:
Price Tracking – snag the object of your desire at the lowest price by taking advantage of unannounced price drops, sales, and closeouts that happen around the clock. While browsing the site, you may come across items labeled with “price drop”, but you can also elect to “track price” and be notified when an item his a certain price. You can also view the price history, which I think is a cool feature.
Community – Join the community and follow other shoppers, to see what items they are adding to their lists. You can also give and receive recommendations from one another. When you follow a member, you can view their comments and reviews on products too.
Videos – Instead of taking the time to look up how-to videos for a product, or video reviews, any given item can have 1 or more videos recommended, right below the listed product. These are not videos done by the site, but videos already on Youtube, pertaining to the product.
Product reviews – Shoppers have the opportunity to leave a review on any product on the site. As such, you can read others’ reviews on products you may want to purchase.
