It’s no secret that I love Miss Bea’s hair. Her long, red locks are so fun to style, brush, and just admire. She gets compliments nearly anywhere we go, but as Bea gets older, and her hair gets longer, we battle the tangles so much more. If we don’t take care of her hair with proper hair care and regimen, it can be a ratty mess. Now that Bea is in school, we are very leery of what could potentially be a big problem with her hair – LICE! With the help of a brand Bea and I already love (SoCozy.com), I’m going to show you a great Lice Prevention collection.
When I was in grade school I had some girlfriends who had lice, something fierce. It seemed so unmanageable that they just shaved their heads to deal with the problem. I can’t imagine doing that with Miss Bea’s hair, so I am all about the prevention.
SoCozy has already had two products out to help with lice prevention, but they have just released the third product in the SoCozy Boo! collection – Boo! Conditioner. We already love SoCozy salon quality products for kiddos ages 2-12, but this new conditioner comes with just the right amount of natural ingredients demonstrated to prevent lice. The same great products for prevention, give that great smell: Tea Tree Oil, Rosemary Extract, Peppermint Oil and Lavender Flower Extract.
To help prevent lice, after using Boo! Shampoo, massage a dollop of Boo! Conditioner through hair and scalp. Wait 30 seconds. Rinse. Follow with Boo! Spray for best results.
Aside from how well the SoCozy products work for us and Miss Bea’s hair, we love how safe it is for kids. No need to worry about parabens, formaldehyde, sulfates, phthalates, propylene glycol, alcohol, gluten, wheat or nuts! Believe it or not a lot of those ingredients can be found in other products we use in our kids’ hair! SoCozy is safe, effective and creates a beautiful, healthy look. Let’s keep it that way all school year long with the SoCozy Boo! collection.
I received products to review and compensation from SoCozy for this post. My opinion is my own and not edited by SoCozy, please read my Disclosure Policy.

Thank you SO much for this article – my daughter got head lice over the summer and it must have been the new resistant type because we used OTC treatments 3 times at home and her dad gave her at least 1 treatment and 2 months later it was no better 🙁 Finally called her pediatrician and I got Sklice and it seemed to work but then school started and I am terrified she is going to get it back! My daughter has really bad sensory issues with her head too so combing it out and even washing it is just HORRID. I am going to try some of this and see if it works!

We’ve had a problem with dandruff for my boys, I’m gonna buy some for them. Even though lice isn’t as much of a concern with their short hair, the tea tree oil will be great for their scalps!!! I’m probably gonna use it too. Thanks for the info!
