Disney’s hottest superheroes have hit shelves everywhere with PLAYMATION MARVEL’S AVENGERS. The Marvel’s Avengers movies have been a big success, and the beloved superheroes have found their way into the hearts and homes of families all over. I can’t think of a child who hasn’t at least once looked up to a superhero they’ve read about, or seen on the big screen. Now they can get down with a little rough and tumble action with the Playmation Marvel’s Avengers Starter Pack.

Now, my kiddos and I have all seen commercials for Playmation, but we really didn’t grasp the power of play that was involved until we watched a couple of videos, and tested out the gear for ourselves. This is high tech equipment here, which does require 12 batteries (not included), but makes for a lot of fun.

The many batteries are used to power up wireless technology, motion sensors and more.  You can even invite friends over, who have their own gear, and power up to tackle missions and combat arenas together, or face off in competitive play. I can see some very fun play dates in the future.

The starter pack comes with four locations and 25 missions. You can purchase different characters (good or evil), to help with the missions. The Repulsor Gear is strapped onto the arm, and can be used to shoot, via laser, at the villains on the home base. Don’t be fooled into thinking you will just stand there and shoot, because during the mission, the Repulsor Gear spouts off different commands such as jump, roll, turn, etc. This is the perfect toy/game for the active child.

If you’ve gotten enough of the 25 missions that come with the game, then snag the free-to-download AvengersNet app. This enables players to register Avenger Gear to see progress, explore additional locations and characters, and get access to new missions.

    The Avengers are very cool… so hard to choose a favorite though. I’ve always been a fan of the Hulk from the comics, but the movies have made me a cinema Iron Man fan. And Black Widow is VERY cool, not having any super-powers and still kicking butt! 🙂

    It was hard to pick a favorite, but if I was in trouble, I think I would want Iron Man on my side, making him my favorite Avenger.

    My son loves the Avengers! He walks around pretending to have super powers all the time! He’d love this!

    My favorite Avenger is definitely Captain America. I cannot wait for Civil War to come out.

    I guess I don’t really have a FAVORITE Avenger, but if I had to choose I guess it’d be Hulk. MY son loves Ultron though!! This would be so fun to win!

    The Avengers are so cool, theres no way to pick a favorite! Hulk is strong but misunderstood, the Cap is so handsome 😉 black widow kicks butt, iron man is so smart and Thor is a god!!

    We all have different favorites in our house- my hubby is an Iron Man fan, my daughter loves Black Widow, my older son loves Captain America, and my youngest is obsessed with Hulk. I must admit I’m a fan of Loki.

    We are huge IronMan fans in my home, so I would have to say he would definitely be our favorite! We really love all the Avengers!
