In Northern California we have had some funky weather since school got out a couple of weeks ago. We started off with HOT days over 100°, then this week we dropped to the 70s and even had some light showers. With bipolar weather, the swimming pool hasn’t been able to to stay warm. We’ve managed to find other fun ways of beating the heat with H2OGo! water toys by Bestway, Inc.
Bestway H2OGo! Double Slider
I’m a little ashamed to admit half of my kids didn’t know what a Slip ‘n Slide was until a couple of weeks ago. The fun they get to have now just might make up for my oversight. The Bestway H2OGo! Double Slider is way cooler than any ol’ slip ‘n slide I grew up with, and it has been a huge hit! Whether you have access to a swimming pool or not, a day of laughter and fun is sure to be had with races down this water slide.
The H2OGo! Double Slider is 18′ in length and has a wet drench pool at the end. Some of my kids can make it that far, and others cannot. They keep trying! There are two things I really love about this slide:
- Connect the hose directly to the slide for constant-event spray.
- There is a blow-up landing pad at the beginning of the slide, to help soften the blow if plopping right down on your belly.
H2OGo! Tether Ball Splash
When you aren’t slipping and sliding down the Double Slider, kids can have fun playing tether ball, all while getting wet, with the Tether Ball Splash. An air compressor isn’t recommended to blow up the tether ball stand, but it’s really too big to blow by mouth. I recommend using a pump of some sort, but the trick is getting the stand full enough to stand upright. I struggled with this a tad, which made for a wobbly stand while hitting the ball. However, a wobbly stand didn’t stop my kids from whacking the ball around and around.
With the hose hooked up to the Tether Ball, the tether ball acts as a sprinkler. No matter who has the ball, or where it’s going, you’re bound to get wet!
H2OGo! Color Wave Pool
If splashing and sliding around just isn’t enough of a cool down for you then you need the H2OGo! Color Wave Pool! This is not your ordinary blow-up swimming pool because with just batteries, you can swim after dark using the LED lights that change between 6 colors. Never before have I seen a blow-up pool that had lights! Some specs to know about the pool:
- The 2-ring pool with extra wide walls and sturdy I-beam construction is made to last all season long
- Takes (4) C batteries
- Includes a drain valve to aid in emptying the pool. The valve is at the bottom of the pool, against the ground, so draining this way may be a tad slow.
- There are 2 chambers to be blown up.
- 9’x5’x18″
