The Top 5 Attractions in St. Louis: #3 is the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis

#3 Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis – Built in 1914, this cathedral is absolutely stunning! I’m not Catholic, but I appreciate great architecture, and other people’s beliefs and worship of Deity. It happened to be a Sunday during this visit, and Mass was in session. Due to Mass, tours were closed, but we did get to slip inside and listen for a bit. The organ and music took my breath away. If you go inside, don’t forget to look up. The ceiling is a true work of art! This stop won’t take much time, but inside and outside are worth a peek.

I’ve heard great things about the zoo, Kathleen. If we’d had the time, we would have gone over. I’m thinking it would have been #6 on my list. 😉
