Kraft-Heinz sponsored this post, but all opinions are my own.
Among the many things I love about Fall (weather, smells, foods, decorations) is being a soccer mom. My boys have a PASSION for soccer, and I love watching them play. They’ve been playing since they were little, and there’s nowhere I’d rather be on a Saturday in the fall, than cheering from the sidelines of a soccer game.
Soccer bag – Each soccer player needs their own bag to carry all of their gear. Trust me – this is necessary so stinky shinguards and gear are not stinking up the car or house between practices. I’ve learned this lesson the hard way! This also cuts down on the chance of an item getting left behind on the soccer fields.
Capri Sun Sport Fruit Frenzy – Having just played hard at a game or practice, my boys seem to think that’s earned them some major treats. I can’t tell you the times they beg to go get something sugary after practice. I’ve found that Capri Sun Sport Fruit Frenzy is a lovely compromise.
With fewer calories than leading regular sport drinks, no high fructose corn syrup and made up of electrolytes and water, this is a win for soccer moms! You can pick this new Capri Sun variety up at Walmart and you can take a #Yessie with the kids, to show off your day of Yes! It’s a win-win for both mom and kids – truly!
Portable chairs – I don’t even bother taking my portable chairs out of our van, during soccer season. You need a good chair that’s easy to take up and down, and frankly, I prefer ones that don’t have to be stuffed into a bag every time. Find one that’s comfy for you, and easy to transport.
Umbrella – The soccer season always starts out hot and ends cold, but when the sun is shining in your eyes it’s difficult to focus on the game. For sun protection and heat protection, a good umbrella (preferable a sports umbrella) can make a huge impact in you being able to enjoy the game. Do your research and find one that’s easy to put up and down, and drive into the ground. You can even opt for a pop-up if you have extra hands to help you.
Sunscreen – Whether it’s hot or cold, the sun is shining and that means you and your soccer player need sun protection. Don’t forget to lather up at least 30 minutes before heading out to the game! If you’re at a tournament, it’s a good idea to reapply throughout the game. You can even have your soccer player keep a bottle in their bag.
These are my absolute must-have items for a successful soccer season, and I think my kids would agree. The nice thing is you can probably pick all of these items up at Walmart, and that Capri Sun Sport Fruit Frenzy is something you can stock up on every time you do your grocery shopping! The kids will thank you!
