Last week I was invited to attend a lunch with a variety of options including new StarKist Selects E.V.O.O. Tuna products. The weather was perfect, the company was great, and I was introduced to their new tuna in extra virgin olive oil. Every dish was beautiful and super tasty, but even better is how you can make mealtime easy with new StarKist Selects E.V.O.O. Tuna. They come in pouches and can be eaten on the go, for those super busy days.

I have to admit that I don’t eat tuna very often because I haven’t been very creative with how to serve it. Plus, there’s the whole can opening and draining of regular canned tuna. This lunch event gave me so much inspiration and ideas of how to incorporate tuna into my diet, which I’m so grateful for because I’ve had difficulty getting enough protein and nutrients into my diet. The new StarKist Selects E.V.O.O. comes in pouches so there’s no draining needed, and you can pop it in the refrigerator and just grab-n-go for snacks or lunches. Top some crackers with it when you’re in a hurry or get inventive and try some of these delicious recipes I was introduced to.

You can feel good about the easy-to-read label with minimal ingredients and choose between StarKist Selects E.V.O.O. Yellowfin or Albacore Tuna and Wild-Caught Salmon. No matter your selection you’ll get rich flavor with a mellow taste, and all the goodness of the tuna plus the olive oil, all from a brand you know and trust. If you want to change up your tuna routine from the traditional tuna + mayo, then these recipes should inspire you.

Tuna Bruschetta from Coco & Dash

For all you bruschetta lovers (I sure am), this Tuna Bruschetta from Coco & Dash is refreshing, nutritious and delicious. I love the vibrant colors and the creaminess from the fresh mozzarella cheese complements the yellowfin tuna so well.

Spinach & Feta Tuna Wrap from The Two Bite Club

The dish that stole the show and made everyone grab seconds was this Spinach & Feta Tuna Wrap from The Two Bite Club. The Greek yogurt and feta cheese are so creamy and pair so nicely with the StarKist Selects E.V.O.O. Yellowfin Tuna. Delish!

Pineapple and Tri-Colored Vegetable Noodle Salad from East End Taste

I loved this Pineapple and Tri-Colored Vegetable Noodle Salad from East End Taste because of its colorfulness and unique flavor combination. It has some great textures and it’s just beautiful!

White Bean Tuna Salad from Greens & Chocolate

If you’re looking for something wholesome and full of nutrients then the White Bean Tuna Salad from Greens & Chocolate will fit the bill! Not a lot of color variety, but what you get from the beans and the tuna will be so good for you, and it’s easy to make!

I’d love to hear your tuna-inspired meal ideas! I’m always looking for more ways to eat healthy while eating tasty!
