Scalp Relief for Sensitive Skin

Redhead with Sensitive Skin and in need of scalp relief

As a mother of redheaded children I’ve learned redheads have some unique traits that may be less common in others. One of those traits is sensitive skin. We all know redheads and fair skin typically go hand-in-hand, and sunscreen is an absolute must. In addition to being prone to sunburns my redheaded kiddos are prone to other skin sensitivities. That’s why I want to share out new find that works on scalp relief for sensitive skin.

Flexitol Scalp Relief

Between dandruff, itchy scalps and frequent bouts of dermatitis, my daughter and I have been on the hunt for a product to help alleviate the bumps. I was introduced to the Flexitol brand at the perfect time! When dealing with sensitive skin, it’s important to stay away from harmful chemicals. We also need a product that can tackle eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis and dandruff, as these are common culprits for my redheaded babes. Flexitol was made just for these ailments!

Flexitol Scalp Relief Shampoo and Scalp Relief Serum

Miss Bea started using two products to really get on top of her irritated scalp. The first step involves washing her hair with Flexitol Scalp Relief Shampoo & Conditioner. I especially love that this shampoo is safe for long term use as it is tar free and steroid free. In addition to the anti-itch properties, Bea’s hair has been a lot softer since using the Scalp Relief Shampoo & Conditioner. Bonus! This shampoo is on the thicker side so it takes a little more effort to rinse properly, but it’s doing its job. Less dandruff and less itching.

Applying Flexitol Scalp Relief Serum

For a while now, Bea has had several little bumps around her hairline and at the nape of her neck. As I mentioned previously, she’s got sensitive skin and it doesn’t take much to irritate it. We’ve learned a lot about dermatitis and all the things that could be causing it. I think her previous haircare products, excessive heat and other factors have been contributing to the dermatitis. She’s quite tired of it so she added step 2 of Flexitol’s products – the Scalp Relief Serum.

Scalp Dermatitis Before and After with Flexitol Scalp Relief

It’s only been a couple of weeks, but Bea is impressed with the results so far. Since she only washes her hair every other day we love that the Scalp Relief Serum can be applied to wet or dry hair. To start, Bea was only applying the serum after shampooing her hair, but now she’s added in the off days since it can go on dry hair. The Scalp Relief Serum has an easy-to-use dropper and works quickly to ease redness, itching and swelling. It seems to dry out the dermatitis bumps, which in turn helps them shrink and go away.

The Flexitol Scalp Relief Serum seems to be an added layer to moisturize and soothe a dry and irritated scalp. Whether your issue is dermatitis or eczema, psoriasis, or dandruff, the Flexitol line of hair products has you covered. We’re excited to continue using the scalp relief products to see if it can keep these itchy red bumps away for good. We’ve also just turned the boys onto the Flexitol Scalp Relief Shampoo & Conditioner, to help with their dandruff. I’m excited to see them get results with it.

I never thought about finding something to help my scalp. I’m not a redhead but almost naturally platinum blonde and very fair so have sensitive skin as well.

I get quite a dry flaky scalp but then quite oily hair so it can be hard to know what to use, but this looks good x
