I love to cook salmon on the grill. I’ve only started to learn how to use the grill. My husband is much better than I am but OMG The salmon turns out spectacular. Take a whole side of the fish, lay it skin side down on a HOT grill (I recommend using hickory chips) brush a heavy layer of Mayonnaise sauce on top (Mix mayo, lemon pepper, garlic, salt to taste). Cook for about 20 minutes with the lid down. OMG its so so so good. make sure that the mayo sauce gets a crust on top. Holy moly its the best salmon ever.
