Homemade Snickers
I am loving my weekly Pinterest Challenges so far! You all are helping me to be more crafty and become a better wife, mother and friend, by getting me to do more projects around the house and for my friends and family. My reading corner has been loved by my kids, and they really have picked up more books to read.
And this week’s challenge of the homemade Snickers, well – my kids love me for them, and I took some to a very sick friend! I think you should all join me in these weekly challenges because I feel like I am bettering myself.
Now for this week’s challenge – the homemade Snickers. These were voted for by you, and were inspired by the blog, How Sweet It is. Yes they are GOOD!!! They are not difficult to make, but are time consuming because there are several layers, and waiting in between layers. Worth it though – and just as good, if not better, than a real Snickers! I think I did a pretty good job if I do say so myself.
I use my Cuisinart Food Processor to chop the peanuts, and it is so great for chopping a variety of items. I highly recommend it!

DIY scratcher cards…would be cute Valentine treats for the kids! http://pinterest.com/pin/90846117453152705/ The ling to the instructions is in the comments…I hate when I Pin something and have to go through various links/boards to get tot he source, so when I find something that does not provide a direct link, I get to the source and put it in comments (trying to get into the habit of doing so anyway!)

Here is a ‘Tooth Fairy Door’. If I still had little one’s at home, I would be making this! The little nest inside is to put the tooth in so the Tooth Fairy won’t have to fish the tooth from under a pillow and risk waking your child. The link is pinterest.com/pin/148337381446347285
