Patriotic Apothecary Jar Decoration

Patriotic Apothecary Jar Decoration

Ever since I became a member of Pinterest, I have found a lot of fun holiday decor ideas, using apothecary jars. I am constantly on the hunt for the best deals, and the best jars, to satisfy my decorating needs. My mom found her jar at Marshalls, for a pretty nice price. She thought she would do something simple and affordable to jazz up her house for the 4th of July, and came up with this Patriotic Apothecary Jar Decoration. I love it, and think it is such an easy way to decorate the house for the 4th of July. I hope to have my own jars by Halloween, because I have big plans!

What you need to get the Patriotic look are some bags of small white beans, kidney beans and black beans. From the bottom up, layer your apothecary jar with white beans, kidney beans, white beans, kidney beans, white beans, and top it off with the black beans. You can make your layers as wide or thick as you’d like. So easy and gorgeous! My mom happened to have a rustic looking star ornament, which she stuck at the top of the jar.

Place the jar wherever you’d like, and feel festive!

You know, Claudia, it’s been so long that I don’t recall. It could have been Pier 1! You should be able to get them on Amazon!
