This past September 18th, a hilarious fiesta of family fun was released on blu-ray and dvd. Beverly Hills Chihuahua 3, Viva La Viesta is full of fun and laughter that the whole family can enjoy. As a family of dog lovers, we get a kick out of all of the Beverly Hills Chihuahua movies and number 3 is no different.
The beloved talking Chihuahuas Papi (voice of George Lopez) and Chloe (voice of Odette Annable) are back, joined by their five playful pups. That right there says that chaos and fun will ensue. Papi’s family (dog and human) move into the posh Langham Hotel, complete with a luxurious doggy spa. But there’s trouble in puppy paradise when Rosa, the littlest member of the pack, feels smaller and less special than ever. I’m sure some of us can relate. Now it’s up to Papi to help Rosa find – and celebrate – her inner strength, which turns out to be bigger than she ever dreamed and reminds humans and canines alike of the importance of family, friends and teamwork.
My daughter loves watching Papi and Chloe with their now 5 pups. The message of finding inner strength is one that we can all relate to, and one that I am happy to have my daughter and 3 boys, learn while they are young. It doesn’t hurt to have some laughs along the way of course.
What is even more exciting for me is that the Langham Huntington hotel in Pasadena, CA, is where my husband and I stayed for our anniversary trip last week. The hotel was just as beautiful as the movie portrays, and then some!

WOULD LOVE THIS I HAVE SEEN THE OTHER’S BUT NOT THIS ONE AND I USE TO WORK FOR DISNEY WHEN MY KIDS WERE YOUNGER , NOW THEY ARE TEENAGERS AND NO TIME FOR THIS ANYMORE, AND I STILL WATCH THE DISNEY CHANNEL, 🙂
