Mary Kay Satin Hands Pampering Set

The older I get, the more I realize that good quality products can really make a difference in how I look and feel. Being very frugal, I used to rarely spend money on nice products. I couldn’t justify the expense. I don’t know if it is age (hence more problems and pickiness) or maturity, but I now rely on good products for my hair and skin.

When I was a teenager, my sister-in-law was a Mary Kay consultant, and she gifted me some items that I fell in love with. She gave me the Satin Lips Set and the Satin Hands Pampering Set. I was amazed at how good these products felt on my lips and hands. I had nearly forgotten how much I enjoyed these products, until I met Amber Rose, a Mary Kay consultant. Not only has Amber introduced me to the world of Scentsy, she has re-introduced me to some favorite, and some new, Mary Kay products!

Because I am so new to many Mary Kay products, I decided to ask my facebook fans which products were their favorites. Out of the options many of you said, I decided on the Ultimate Mascara in Black/Brown, TimeWise 3-in-1 Cleanser (Combination/Oil), and Satin Lips. I was excited to try out the Satin Lips again after 10+ years. It feels as good as I remember! I love that you can first get rid of all dead skin by using the Lip Mask. Then after the work surface has been set and prepped, finish off with the silky soft Lip Balm.

So many people raved about the TimeWise collection, so I just had to give it a try. I was in need of a new cleanser so I went with the TimeWise 3-in-1 Cleanser for my combination skin. Mary Kay boasts that “this cleanser combines age-fighting benefits plus three essential skin care benefits in one product, to cleanse, exfoliate and refresh – revealing younger-looking skin.” I haven’t been using the product long enough yet to say if I am reaping the benefits of an age-fighting cleanser, but I can tell you that this cleanser certainly does exfoliate and freshen my skin. It is amazing what a good cleanser can do to make you feel fresh – something I haven’t been feeling a lot of lately.

Lastly, the Ultimate Mascara is definitely a step up from what I have been using. I can’t remember the last time I felt like my eyelashes had some body and fullness to them! I have been losing hair and eyelashes more and more, the older I get, so I really needed this little boost in confidence. I love that I am able to get my color of choice, which is the black/brown.

    I would love to use the Satin Hands. With a 4 month old I am always washing my hands and they tend to get very dry.

    I also love satin hands and satin lips from mk! I had a set of both and loved them! Well worth the extra cost! Do they do a satin feet set??? If so I’m sure I’d love that even more!

    I would like to try the soothing eye gel–it just sounds so nice–and also the cream eye color. I have always had better luck with cream shadows and I am sure these would be terrific.

    Hmmmm there are sooo many i would like to try. Mary Kay® Mineral Eye Color Bundles Brilliant Blue is one, or Mary Kay® Bold Shine Lip Color, or any of Mary Kay Black eyeliner or mascara. Tooooo hard to just chose one 😉

    Hmmmmmmm I buy Mary Kay all the time so Im not sure if there’s anything I haven’t tried. Plus I use to sell it also, I dont sell it anymore. So yeah Im not sure if there’s anything I haven’t tried. But I would say I want to try the Botanicals set again, seeing as I just run out of my Botanicals stuff I had.

    I LOVE my Mary Kay products, and I was a rep once before. Now my Aunt is a rep and I go through her for everything. I LOVE the mascara and eyeliner the most. The satin hands is amazing as well, and definitely something to stock up on!

    I’d like to try the Mineral Foundation the most. There are also fragrances I’d like to try. I have never tried any of the hand creams or moisturizers, so I’d like to try them, also. I guess I’m very interested in trying a lot of the Mary Kay products because I’ve never tried any. I’ve heard they are very good quality.

    hand cream is always good… but as for what i would want… i like to smell good… so i’d go for one of the men’s colognes… probably True.

    I’d love to try the satin hands and the lip products. As winter approaches, I find my hands drier as I wash them alot, and also dry lips too…

    Like you, it has been YEARS since I’ve tried any Mary Kay products, but I absolutely loved the Satin Hands products years ago.
