For me, watching sports and eating simultaneously are simply meant to be. Let’s face it, food makes everything better doesn’t it? I’m sure you all know what March is in the sporting industry – time for some serious college basketball! If you and your friends and/or family plan a big viewing party for the tournament or final game then I’m sure a game time menu has been on your mind. It’s always a good idea to be armed with quick and easy recipes that will please a crowd. As I have mentioned numerous times, I love to shop at Sam’s Club for many of my party planning needs. They’ve got great pre-made appetizers and desserts, but you can also pick up Velveeta Cheese & Rotel for a fast snack. Upon visiting the Sam’s Club website, I found a few fun recipes that combine VELVEETA® and RO*TEL®.
The first recipe that stuck out to me is the Ultimate Nachos. With just 5 minutes of prep time, these nachos can pleasing to the crowd and the chef! While you are over there, be sure to snag the recipes for Cheesy Spinach and Bacon Dip for the bacon lovers, Cowboy Quesadilla and Famous Queso Dip, Spicy Cheeseburger Dip. The longest recipe takes just 15 minutes – can’t beat that!
I decided to try my hand at a recipe using VELVEETA and RO*TEL, and came up with an easy Chili Cheese Dip. With just these 4 ingredients you can’t really go wrong!
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 15 oz can chili
- 15 oz can RO*TEL
- 2 cups VELVEETA, cubed
- Spread cream cheese in the bottom of a 1.5 oz microwaveable casserole dish.
- Pour chili and RO*TEL® over cream cheese layer and top with VELVEETA®.
- Microwave on high for 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted. If cheese is not completely melted, continue microwaving in 30 second increments. Serve with tortilla chips.

Ingredients
