OxiClean Dishwashing Booster To The Test

by Emily Buys Leave a Comment

My dishwasher has been a bit of a thorn in my side since I bought this house. It seems like the water pressure is either too high, and cups and bowls flip over – getting filled with water. Or the water pressure is too low, and the bottom of the dishwasher has a bunch of junk sitting in the bottom of it. Until I can buy a new dishwasher, I try to use some of the best products I can find, to get my dishes looking, smelling, and tasting clean.

I probably use my dishwasher every other day. I think my dishwasher is lacking in it’s rinse cycle, which can leave dishes with a little soap residue. I don’t always see the soap residue, but I can sure taste it on my glasses at times. I recently became aware that OxiClean has a Dishwashing Booster, and I wanted to give it a try. This morning, I had a full dishwasher, including two 9×9 glass square dishes with breakfast caked onto them. I rinsed the dishes, but didn’t do an awful lot of scrubbing, because I wanted to give the OxiClean Dishwashing Booster the real test. My dishes came out perfectly clean, and sparkling.

I want to share some fun facts with you, regarding Dishwashing & Entertaining:

The top three things that consumers believe cause the spots/cloudy dishes are dishwashing detergent (50%), hard water (34%), dishwasher not working well (30%). I think that I would probably agree with these statistics.

Over half (56%) have switched their detergent 2-5 times. Can you think of how many times you have switched your detergent? I will often buy what is on sale, but having a dishwashing booster on hand, in case you don’t have the best detergent, might be a good idea.

69% of respondents either do not know what phosphates are (14%) or that they were banned from dishwashing detergents (55%). I have to say that I had no idea phosphates were banned from dishwashing detergents! For more facts and OxiClean information, be sure to follow OxiClean on facebook.
