Easy Sausage and Peppers on a Hoagie
Today I want to share a super easy, yet delicious recipe that can be served as lunch or dinner. I personally think this is great for a quick dinner on a busy night. I had some leftover sausages that needed using, so I concocted this tasty meal in a jiffy. The kids and adults all enjoyed in this yummy, filling meal. This pictures didn’t turn out as great as I had hoped because I was in a hurry, but I assure you – they were yummy!
In a frying pan, head up some sausages. I used the Artisan Fresh Mozzarella & Roasted Garlic Chicken Sausage from Sam’s Club – because I love them! Keep turning your sausages until you are sure they are heated through. Partway through cooking, at sliced onion and peppers, and saute.
When onions and peppers are just barely tender, add spaghetti sauce. I added a spaghetti sauce with mushrooms, for extra veggies. Cook on low until sauce is heated through.
Serve sausages on a large hoagie roll, and top with peppers and extra sauce. I sprinkled with a little fresh parmesan cheese. YUM!
