Spy Net Ultra Vision Goggles

Every since my oldest son was pretty little, he has enjoyed playing with different spy gadgets. He enjoys sneaking around and solving mysteries. I have purchased him small little gadgets here and there, but my son has always wanted something like the big guns would have – Spy Goggles! With the Spy Net Ultra Vision Goggles from Jakks Pacific, my son can rule the day and the night.

I am amazed at all of the features the Spy Net Ultra Vision Goggles come with. As with all goggles, there is a focal adjustment, but this set also comes with a long range mode, short range mode, night mode, day mode, record mode and playback mode. I think the coolest feature that kids will love is the fact that kids can record video and take photos. A Micro SD Card is required, but not included, so I haven’t tested this part out yet. My kids love to record each other being silly though, so I’m sure they’ll have a blast with that part.

Now that we have hit Daylight Savings and it is dark so early, the kids will be able to have a lot of fun with the night mode. You can see up to 50 feet in complete darkness! In night and day mode, you can play with night vision, thermal-tech and ghost recon. Wooo ooo ooo! The thermal-tech and ghost recon modes are really kind of fun. My kids enjoy seeing normal every day things in these cool new ways!

To get the goggles working, 4 AA batteries are required. These are also recommended for kids 8+, but truth be told, hubby has enjoyed testing these out in the dark. The night vision really does work well! The goggles are nice and sturdy, which is nice because I don’t see them breaking anytime soon. The only issue I have found with the Spy Net Ultra Vision Goggles is that the rubber rim that you put your eyes and face up to, seems to come loose somewhat easily. In our experience, the piece has never come all the way off, so I wouldn’t worry too much about it.

If you have a little spy in training, the Spy Net Ultra Vision Goggles are sure to be a hit! I can see my boys having friends over and taking turns making up their own adventures with these goggles. The Spy Net Ultra Vision Goggles retail for $49.99, but are on sell for just $39.99 on Amazon!

    In a backyard filled with bears and other 4 legged wonders, the thermal tech ability (from the safety of the upstairs back windows) would be fantastic for a science project!

    Coolest feature….night vision, ghost recon, thermal-tech or the ability to record….uhm…ALL of them! lol. Well, I think my sons would love the night vision best, I’d love the thermal tech, my hubby (the Former Military police officer) would love it all. But the one feature he didn’t have with his military gear was the ability to record, so he’d probably think that is pretty cool.
